This Privacy Policy describes how NightTheme Auto Replies (the “App”) handles data. The App is used by the owner to help manage replies on a Threads account by drafting responses and sending them for manual approval.
1) Who operates this App

2) What data the App processes
The App may process the following data related to Threads activity:
- Threads post IDs and reply/comment IDs
- Usernames/handles associated with replies
- Reply/comment text and the original post text (context)
- Timestamps (when received, drafted, approved, published)
- Generated draft replies (including multiple candidates to avoid repetition)
- Approval metadata (approved/denied/regenerated)
3) Why the App uses this data
- Detect new replies to the owner’s Threads posts
- Fetch conversation context so drafts are relevant
- Generate optional reply drafts using a local language model
- Send a notification to the owner for manual review
- Publish a reply only when the owner explicitly approves
- Prevent duplicates and reduce repetitive drafts
4) How data is stored
Data is stored privately by the operator in a self-hosted database (Postgres) to support deduplication, audit history, and avoiding repeated generated replies.
The workflow automation may use:
- n8n (self-hosted) to run automations
- Cloudflare Tunnel to securely receive webhook traffic
- Slack to deliver approval messages to the owner
- Ollama (local) to generate draft reply text
5) Sharing of data
The operator does not sell personal data. Data is not shared with third parties except as needed to operate the workflow (e.g., Slack for notifications and Meta/Threads API for posting).
6) Retention
Records may be retained to:
- avoid processing the same reply twice (deduplication)
- maintain an approval/publish history
- avoid repeating previously generated reply candidates
7) Security
The operator uses reasonable safeguards including restricted access, Cloudflare protections for webhook endpoints, and secrets/tokens stored in private configuration.
8) Data Deletion Instructions
To request deletion of data associated with you, email: onekraus@gmail.com
Use subject line: NightTheme Data Deletion
Please include:
- Your Threads username/handle
- Approximate date/time of the interaction
- A link or screenshot of the relevant reply (if available)
The operator will locate and delete associated records from the database within a reasonable timeframe.
9) Changes
This policy may be updated as the App evolves. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes.
